It’s time to look back a bit and post some beautiful sessions that I haven’t been able to getting around to posting on the blog yet? This was a road trip session and the destination was so worth the drive! Sip on whatever you love today and enjoy this sweet baby girl’s newborn session with me.

With all of the change going on in this world and in our homes, this session has brought some light, life and sunshine to my day. Maybe it’s because I’m pregnant too, so I’m feeling a little more close to this session than I normally would. But finding joy in the simple things in life is a priority on the harder days right now, so I hope that you are able to do the same in whatever way that may be.

I haven’t had the time to get around to blogging some older sessions but I’m using this time to slow down with shooting work and concentrate on sharing more and being able to respond more to incoming questions about sessions! If you’ve been interested in a bump session, here is a great idea of what one would look like for you!

I love, love, love seeing this family every year! The girls are getting so big and we always have so much fun! They are always so full of snuggles and as they are getting bigger, I know the cuddles won’t be stopping any time soon. This year we told some jokes, said some silly things and there were great leaves to throw at the end!

I absolutely love getting to see this family! Watching your babies turn into children and then young adults is an absolute blessing (and miracle) that happens every year right before my eyes. Loosing teeth, getting taller, watching their personalities form, it’s all part of the growing process and I’m so blessed and honored to be able to capture all of these milestone moments in between. Don’t blink!

I did his session a bit ago and am just being able to catch up on being able to blog sessions, but his session was too sweet and made my entire week! Congratulations to this family on their new addition!

This gorgeous wedding was at Lavender Crest Winery in Coal Valley, IL. Ryan + Miranda had such a slow, relaxing day! A little mist of rain came and went and made for the perfect overcast that set the moodiness of their photos. Thank you so much to the two of you for allowing me to be a part of your day and for your absolute generosity for surprising me with your entire wedding party wearing Owen’s Story awareness bracelets. I can’t thank you enough for that moment and I will remember it forever. Big hugs to you and many warm wishes to your future together!

This was part of the email I had received from this family when wanting to book their family session this fall. Having a special needs son of my own, it’s absolutely important to me for you to be able to realize that I am able to help you to capture all of the moments…the perfectly imperfect ones.
