Baby Jentry's C-Section Birth

Oh, you guys, this birth story. I can't get enough and I have relived moments of this night over and over in my head. Abbie is one of my dearest friends and it was just so heartwarming to be there and watch her birth her second miracle babe. I really hope you are able to grab a cup of coffee and be able to sit and relax while scrolling through these, soaking in every moment and every detail with me.

My sweet friend, Abbie. This was a very long day for you. I know you were looking so forward to a new experience with your second babe and I'm so sorry that things didn't go quite as smoothly as you imagined throughout the process. God had a plan for him already and I know that you knew it would all be worth it. Just know that you are stronger than you give yourself credit for, I saw with my own eyes all day, the strength and power that you held in your heart, mind and body. I'm so happy that you can now hold onto this moments forever. Thank you for allowing me to be along side you in his birth journey...

Mama + Camille

"It's not about how big the house is, it's how happy the home is. You are my Home."

I had the pleasure of meeting and spending a morning with this sweet mama and her babe in their home. It was a quiet, enjoyable morning and both Camille's sweet smile and the sunshine coming through their windows warmed up the room we were in.

I love being able to show you simple sessions like these, because it truly shows that it's not about the location, having a ton of space in your home or using props, it's about the moments together that you share, the ones you do every day and may be taking for granted. All you need is a single spot for that. The love that these two share and the life they are living is simple and perfect for them and I love it so much.

Here are some sweet little moments from their session...

Welcoming Baby Clara

This family has added a new little GIRL to their family! Nora is the most precious big sister and didn't want me to leave, we always have so much fun during our shoots together. She has such a quiet little voice and a contagious, squeaky giggle that I just can never get enough of. Sissy is chunkier than Nora was when she was born, and it was fun to see the differences and similarities between them! We read books, sang songs and were very silly. Sis ended the session with getting her nails painted by her daddy. It's so fun to see how many sessions I've done for certain families over time! Folders and folders of photos and memories, I'm so grateful to be a part of your journey's every step of the way. This family is one that I hold close to my heart for just that reason, of always being there to support and appreciate me. I love you guys, congratulations to you all! ...

The Hart Family

Watching your babies grow is one of the greatest parts of my life.
Seeing the changes in personality in these two has been fun! Big sister is just the sweetest (I always want to take her home with me) and brother just turned one! We told sang some songs, told silly jokes, read some books, played with toys and had some cuddle time with mama. Morning routines are usually a bit chaotic, so I was excited to get a few 'stop and take in the moment' shots for this mama. We ended the session loving on Jackson inhaling a yummy cupcake to celebrate his birthday...

The Brickner Family

This was one of my favorite family sessions to start off the new year and it was so nice to see this family again! There were so many giggles and snuggles and rolling around on the floor with babes is my cup of tea. We played, read some books, wrestled, stopped to suck down a bottle, cuddled for a bit and then ended the session with a smash cake (and cupcake for big sissy) to celebrate both of their birthdays.

Soak in all of their sweetness with me.

George's Birth Story

I've had the pleasure of capturing all three children's births for this sweet family. That within itself is completely priceless and I truly wish I could be there for every single parent to capture these moments for them to have. Each birth is different and most birth plans don't actually go as planned. Everyone deserves to remember these first moments, no matter how their story unfolds or what they have to go through. This is their story of welcoming baby #3 in just a handful of photos.

Rachael + Aaron

Rachael + Aaron's day. Take me back. It was in the 'middle of nowhere' kind of feel (which is my favorite) located on their family farm in Kewanee, Illinois. It was a warm day in September, but we were kept cool by the strong, open field breeze. It was quaint feeling but still a celebration and there were a handful of moments that were just filled with sweet, happy tears. There were so many personal things they included in their wedding that meant something to them and their family and I was honored to be a part of it.

Of course there are a ton more photos, but I've chosen a few of my favorites to help tell their day in the best way.

Show them some love as we congratulate the newlyweds (even though I'm a few months late here) Mr. + Mrs. Grant! Yes, I'll do a better job at sharing some weddings with you here as well!

"I'll Eat You Up, I Love You So..."

It's been one year celebrating Mr. Declan! This was the last session this year that I had before the extreme cold hit and it was the perfect way to end the outdoor season of 2017.

Happy First Birthday babe!
